In The Hoop Machine Embroidery Applique Pincushion

The Spools & Scissors Pincushion is a fun project that's created entirely in the hoop. It's the perfect beginner class for those wanting to learn machine embroidery and applique.

Supplies Needed

Embroidery Machine
Embroidery Foot
Straight Stitch Plate
Large Oval Hoop
80/12 Embroidery Needles
40 wt Embroidery Thread (various colors)
60 wt Bobbin Thread
Fabric Glue Stick
Small Curved Embroidery Scissors
Fabric Scissors or Pinking Shears
Point Turner
Tear Away Stabilizer
Your favorite filler for the pincushion: Polyfill, Poly Pellets, Walnut Shells
Iron

Fabric Needed

Front 5 x 7 rectangle
Two 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 rectangles for wooden top and bottom of spool
One 2 1/2 x 3 rectangle for thread on spool
Back 5 x 7 rectangle

Note* A minimum of 2 students is required for this class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund or you can be rescheduled to a later class.
