Beginner Fashion Design Summer Camp Week 1
Join us this summer as we dive deep into the world of fashion!
Students will explore the exciting world of fashion design through hands-on sewing and creative projects. This beginner-friendly camp introduces students to sewing machine operation, fashion design basics, textiles, and garment construction techniques while encouraging creativity and self-expression.
By the end of the camp, students will have completed several fashion projects and developed foundational sewing skills they can continue using beyond the classroom.
Students Will:
- Learn sewing machine safety and operation
- Practice hand sewing and basic machine stitching
- Understand fabric types and sewing tools
- Explore elements and principles of fashion design
- Create beginner-friendly fashion and accessory projects
- Build confidence in problem-solving and creativity
- Develop introductory fashion construction skills
- Sewing Machine

- Sewing Pins
- Seam Ripper
- Measuring Tape
Materials Needed
- Fabric #1 1 1/2 yards of cotton fabric
- Fabric #2 1 1/2 yards of cotton fabric
- Matching thread
Note* A minimum of 5 students is required for this class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
