Hand Quilting - That Perfect Stitch
No Pricks for the under fingers! Hand quilting soothes the spirit and makes the heart content. While quilting, you will gain an understanding of the basics of the stitch, run & rock, as well as the proper use of tools. Each student will have individual attention. Lots of demonstrations.

Fabric Requirements:
- Backing 18” square of fabric your choice
- Batting 18” square polyester or low loft 80/20 cotton/poly
- “Autumn Wreath” Mini Whole Cloth Quilt by The Stencil Co.406N
- Quilting Thread Cotton (any color)
- Quilting/Betweens Needles Size 9 or 10
- Quilters 1-3/4” pins
- Basting Needle (Provided)
- Pincushion
- Small Scissors
- Quilting Thimble (if you already have one, bring it or we will help you choose the right one from our selection at the store) My favorite is Elaine Considine Goatskin.
- Quilting Hoop 14” E. F. Edmunds Round Wooden
- Paper and Pencil for taking notes
Note* A minimum of 4 students is required for this class to make. If the class is canceled you will be refunded or rescheduled for a different time slot.
