The Sewing Lab: Zippers
This mini workshop is for those looking to master garment construction, and will teach you how to install a centered, lapped, and invisible zipper.
Note* A minimum of 2 students is required for this class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund or you can be rescheduled to a later class.
Students should bring their machines and zipper feet (regular and invisible) to class.

| Skill Details: | You must know the basics of the sewing machine. How to thread it, wind the bobbin, and comfortably sew in a straight line. |
| Materials Included: | All supplies needed for class are included in the class price. |
| Requirements: | Students must be ages 16+, and must bring their machines and zipper feet (regular and invisible) to class. |

| Instructor Bio: | Mia Green serves as the Director of Education at Hoops & Needles, bringing years of experience in teaching the art of sewing to both adults and children through dynamic in-person and online classes. She has partnered with cities across Texas to lead engaging summer sewing programs and fashion camps for youth, as well as professional development and team-building workshops for adults. Now as part of the Hoops & Needles team, Mia is excited to offer her expertise in garment sewing to customers through a variety of in-person and virtual class experiences. |
