Cancellations

Last Minute Cancellations
We are unable to accommodate any cancellations with less than 48 hours notice. In the case of a family emergency, we will do everything in our power to move you to another class, but we cannot guarantee availability.

Cancellations Due To Weather
We will follow the Plano ISD schedule, and if they are shut down due to weather, we will too. If this happens, we will post revised shop hours on our homepage and Instagram.  If this closing affects a class, we will email and/or call each student and let them know as soon as we determine the class has been cancelled.

Class Start Times
Classes will begin promptly at their scheduled time. Please give yourself plenty of time to gather your materials and get prepared prior to class because it is very unlikely that we will be able to get you completely caught up with the rest of the class if you are running late.

Minimum Enrollment
2 students are required for most classes to meet. You can view each class description to determine if a class has a minimum requirement. If a class does not have 2 students registered by 10 a.m. 48 hours before the start of class, we will remove the class from the calendar, and contact the person currently enrolled to reschedule them to a different day and time or issue a full refund.

Youth Sewing
Kids classes (unless otherwise specified in the class description) are for ages 9-15.
Afterschool clubs are paid by the month, and availability for each month is first come, first served.

Machine Rentals
Customers must check-in at the register upon arrival for machine rentals, and check-out at the end of studio time. There will be no teacher assistance provided for projects during rented studio time.

Class Refunds
Unfortnuately, outside of minimal enrollment cancellations, all classes are non-refundable. In the case of an unforeseen event/emergency please contact the store ASAP or email our director of education at mia@hoopsandneedles.com to be rescheduled for a different date and time.
