Greetings...I saw a tree today with the leaves beginning to turn "color"...the nights are cooler and that begins the "process"...Fall and Spring are my two favorite seasons and for this I am glad to live in the Northeast.
My vacation was wonderful. We saw a terrific Red Sox game and visited Niagra Falls from the Canadian side. I was awed with its beauty and power. We took the "Maid of the Mist" boatride and did all sorts of "touristy" things and enjoyed the whole trip.
But it is back to FALL...I have so many ideas...the Ornament magazine will be here soon. We will be choosing about 8 to stitch and finish. I have one more Just Nan Dragonfly scissor keep. Our first class will be scheduled for the end of September. I have it almost completed and it is beautiful. The Jeanette Douglas Stitching Album has one more place available in that series. This will be a year long stitching project. You can see it on her website www.jeanettedouglas.com It will be stitched in chapters. The first chapter should be here this week.
Our summer trunk shows were a great success. We featured Lizzie Kate, Waxing Moon and My Big Toe. Especially popular were the beautifully beaded scissor fobs from Debbie Booth of My Big Toe.
CHRISTMAS (yes "Christmas") is right around the corner. It is a busy time for framing and finishing. Please plan accordingly so that we may help you to realize your expectations! December 2nd is a good date to shoot for completion of designs. We will still be able to order after that date from certain companies and will continue to help accomodate you. Christmas is on a Thursday this year.
We have done quite a bit of "Mail Order" this year. With gas prices as they are, we are glad to send you any supplies that you might need.
