Greetings and wishes for sunshine and warmth. The last few weeks have been awful and someone told me they were starting to "mildew"! I can believe it. Thank goodness I have the permanent flowers on these pages. My actual garden is very sad looking these days, but the new lawn came in full, thick and green.
I am always amazed at the new ideas that surface. Sometimes you think it has all been done and new techniques show up yet again. As I always say there is something for everyone in Counted Cross Stitch.
It is the 4th of July weekend and Hoops and Needles will be closed on Friday and Saturday. We will re-open on our regular day of Tuesday.
We have done a little re-decorating and I have "purged" the book racks and crates. I decided the best way to to sell them is to have a sale...so I have marked (with lots of help) all of the books at the price of $1.00. Yes you have read that right. Some books have a retail tag of up to $10.00 and if you want it, it will be yours for $1.00. At these prices, the leaflets will "leave" quickly as witnessed at the Stitching Group. Over 40 books were purchased that night alone. There are hundreds of books, but come early for the best selection. July is also the month of our regular Holiday Sale. All holiday themed charts, leaflets, etc are 10% off for the month.
